I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Report on filter selections/search entries

Work with Google Analytics to track the filters users employ to alter their view of the cards or any search terms they enter. We're using AT as a resource library and are curious what info people are searching for that might be missing and/or which "shelves" of the library are most visited. Thanks!

    • Implement a markdown parser

Add a markdown parser so we can format cell text into HTML. This will allow users to add headers, emphasis, lists, images, links, and much more.

      • Gantt tool-tip is offset when chart with overflow is scrolled

This issue was raised in 2015 by Jean-Rémi Delteil (ref. https://markmail.org/message/w2qtanokwlsipr7a), but seems to me it still exists. Please address.

        • Keyword filter

Currently, the StringFilter will search for & return results for exact matches.

For example, if a cell's value is "Awesome Table is amazing" and the user searches for "awesome amazing" the filter will return 0 results.

A 'Keyword' filter could allow users to enter keywords in specific cells and then search for any of the keywords (using the OR operator).

For example, if a cell's value is "This is an Awesome Table keyword filter", the user could search for "filter awesome keyword" and the search would return a match/result.

Highlight text in table that corresponds to the text in the filters or search windows.

Possibly could be achieved with custom JavaScript?

              • Please add Aria-labels for accessibility

Cards view filters 'plus icon' and 'down arrow' need aria-labels so a screen reader will announce it and display the dropdown on a TAB press or arrow press. Cards view pagination svg arrows need aria-labels so a screen reader announces 'forward' and 'back' and mark these as navigation. Currently the screen reader NVDA noes not announce these items at all, nor the vertical ellipsis that hides the print icon. (I'm viewing the cards view placed on a site with iframe in Chrome). I'll need to wait until these basic accessibility measures are in place before being able to use Awesome…

                • Turn Off Clusters - Default map load view

Although clusters can be helpful, on some maps (like indoor maps) it's not helpful and requires everyone using the map to take additional steps in order to view the categorized (colored) points. Please add a way to permanently disable clusters or to default uncheck clustering before the page loads (but the user has option to check it). thank you.

                    • Include ability to download a vcard file with the info for each entry in the people directory.

People directories are nice, but are web based which means people have to follow a link, which has to be remembered or stored somewhere. Our group would like to be able to download a vcard file with new members' contact info directly into our phones using the real time info in our awesome table spread sheet. How can we get from a spreadsheet updated by forms to a .vcf published on our private site with that same automatically updated info?

                      • order by random

Besides order by asc and desc, I'm looking for a way to randomize the order of appearance in a column.
Right now it's alphabetical order but we'd like for a different (random) order to appear each time the site is loaded.
                        Thanks!

                        • Allow the user to rank an AT by the input the user provided (as opposed to the AT creator)

I am using the great AT app to display profiles of candidates looking for an academic job in Operations Research (http://www.operationsacademia.org/job-postings). I show profiles "ordered by" the last name of each candidate which causes profiles of Candidates with last names starting from "A", "B" etc to have much higher visibility compared to the rest. How can I instead allow each user of AT to choose how he/she wishes to rank the data?

For a concrete example, consider Google Carreers: https://careers.google.com/jobs#t=sq&q=j&so=dt_pd&li=20&l=false&jlo=en-US&

Would it be possible to make a template for Region GeoCharts in AT (see green colored map: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/geochart)?

I would love to find a way to use color codes for each country receiving development aid. Countries receiving more aid should get a darker color compared to countries receiving less aid.

                                  Hello,
I'd like to create a page in Google Sites with lots of presentations built with Google Slides, adding a filter based on tags assigned to each presentation.
It would be great to have the possibility to use your Application List or Add-On Gallery templates, but inserting a slideshow preview instead of the static image currently available, in order to allow user to scroll through the presentation before opening it.

                                  • SearchField

When you have a (possibly long) text field (eg "product description"), the filter lets you query for rows CONTAINING one or more specified words. Of course this could be further empowered in many ways, like using a google-search-like syntax (expression, "exact expression" etc.)

Add support for RTL languages (Hebrew, Arabic etc.).
Meaning, add support for having filters on the right, and aligning the filters and data to the right. I'm currently achieving this by overriding the CSS, but for the filters area it's a lot of manual work which requires some coding knowledge.

Adicional al Catálogo, sería ideal que permita agregar cualquier producto al carrito de compras y programar cualquier medio de pago.

                                        • Filter UI Improvement

Create a hybrid filter feature (drop-down menu with search field and autocomplete functionality). We have huge dropdown lists (>100 items) and it would be great to allow user to search for the right item rather than scroll.

                                          Similar to http://usabilitypost.com/2009/11/30/search-dropdown-hybrid-box/
