I have DateFilter applied to two columns. First column is "Project Started" date and second is "Project Finished". Many projects are not yet finished; hence, there are blank cells for that second column. I would like to provide the option to filter my table by completion dates, but the DateFilter automatically filters out our ongoing projects (since cells are blank). The DateFilter slider bar should be present yet disabled by default, and filtering should only apply when desired.7 votes
The DateFilter was re-made from scratch, and is now allowing those row with no data by default.
Find more information here :
The application does not or load images very slowly in card view if the data is beyond 10,000 images along with data.
When filter is applied app become much slower6 votes
Though you should not display all cards at once when having a lot of cards
currently file cabinet only allows for folders for my drive and not team drive.6 votes
You've done a great job walking people through how to create a basic Awesome Table and follow the models and demos. Something that's missing from this is how to add Google Analytics to each gadget so you can report back on usage and success of the gadget in practice. There are some instructions in the documentation Google Doc and some on Steegle, but I'm not sure what's current or exactly how to follow them to measure use, for example, of the List Drive Files search. Can you add clearer support for people wanting to measure use of these tables?6 votes
There is now a documentation on this:
it would be easier for us.5 votes
This is now possible.
It would be nice if the column sorting feature is retained with csvFiler.5 votes
I have an awesome table. If I sort the table by one of the columns and use the arrows at the top of the table to go to the next "page" of results, the table retains the sort order I used. As a result, I can now scroll through all the results in the table in the order I set by clicking on the column.
However, the bottom arrows do not - they revert to the default order of table elements.
This behavior is either inconsistent and non-intuitive or a bug.4 votes
Currently it is not possible to use only a csvFilter and no other filter.
It could be useful.4 votes
Awesome table is awesome. However, one thing lacking in the product is the load time. When embedded in google sites, the awesome able takes time to load and one has to wait. The load time should be reduced.
Also, there should be a way to put a customisable message if the awesome table loading fails. rather than the message gadget could not be loaded. Please help to find a solution this.4 votes
Using row level permissions for awesome table is a pain as sheet data format for currency, % etc are lost. This however work without row level permissions. It would be nice if it is fixed.3 votes
Previously, we only needed access to the Google Sheet to work with an awesome table. Now, there is a Request Access button on tables we have not built. This makes it frustrating for users and difficult for admins to help them. I find myself creating new tables from scratch just to get past the complication. Can we either go back to a world where Google Sheets control permissions OR have a real permissions button with users clearly listed as people with access (similar to permissions on Docs and Sites).3 votes
The new site show a much clearer view.
Though you still have to request access in edition, you can transfer ownership in one click if the user is on the same domain
Just specify a huge pageSize settings.
Though this is NOT recommended as the pagination is here for performance reason.
If you forget to set up the sharing option, you'll get this not-so-easy-to-understand error.2 votes

Currently documentation is inconsistent. Some documents call for 'buttonType' others for 'ButtonType'. Also, so far as I can see, I've never been able to get buttons to show in either preview or live.
Additionally using parenthesis and refering to the column by letter or by index does nothing.
I'd greatly appreciate any update on this matter1 vote
Did you read the documentation of this page (https://support.awesome-table.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003763385) ?
The ButtonType keyword should be added in the column containing the TEXT of the button, and the parenthesis parameter will indicate the button LINK column.
Also all keywords are case-insensitive so it does not matter for them to be capitalized or not.
Currently the template functionality does not work with the Row Level Permissions. Designing a nice presentation of data for individual students is currently not possible.1 vote
I invite you to read the following article : http://goo.gl/eu0DCt
To set up the new proxy that allow Template use !
wish it is possible to duplicate an awesome table from the list, could be quick and easy when developping on a complicated model and keeping the first version steady1 vote
Just use the “copy the view” menu action in the edition page of the view.
Having the ability to modify the sentence if no data to display.
Example when there is no current supply or the Proxy prevents the display for that user1 vote
