In Map view it would be great it we could change the colour of the markers (or even add an image!) if possible.
This feature is now available, please checkout these 2 examples:
Documentation will follow accordingly, and the details may change until then.
Thanks, that's great, will make a huge difference.
Is it possible to use an icon rather than an image, and change the colour, I use these on another map interface and would love to transfer everything to AwsomeTable.
Hi I hope you can do this, it would be particularly useful for us if it could be done by category, either a different colour or an icon we can draw ourselves....

Hi, is this implemented?

The GeoChart view is very nice because the marker size and color can be linked to a variable in the data, but the interactivity with the map is very bad (can only zoom to the country level). It would be nice to incorporate this sort of marker functionality into the Maps view so that it doesn't always need to be a marker pin.

This is seriously needed. Awesome Tables, heed our feedback!

Change colours is nice, but the best would be to add whatever markers (icons) we want. Maybe by listing icons url in a column ?

This would be great!
The color code could be controlled by HTML Hex values in a column, similar to what can be done with a GeoChart view (but within map view). Another possibility is to let the colors be linked to values in a categoryFilter column, with each unique entry having it's own color selection GUI. While the first is probably easier to implement, the latter could be quite useful for certain applications.
